Step 1: Enter the licensee's date of birth, and select either Virginia resident, military station based in Virginia, or non-resident for the licensee's residency type.

Step 2: Select the licensee's privileges by checking the box before each desired license or privilege. You may also choose to contribute a donation to the DGIF Non-Game Fund.

Step 3: Enter the licensee's name, gender, driver license number or personal ID or military ID or passport number, and address information. If this is the name and address information that you will be using for your credit card billing information, make sure to check the box at bottom of the page.

Step 4: This page will display the licensee's information and selected licenses for your review and confirmation. You are able to edit the information if needed or you may proceed to the next step.

Step 5: This page is a summary of all the licenses you will be purchasing and associated charges. From this page, you are able to purchase additional licenses. Click the 'Purchase Another License' button in the lower left corner to add licenses for another person to your purchase list. You may also remove licensees from your purchase summary list at this time.

Step 6: This is a standard payment screen where you will enter your credit card and payment information and submit your payment. Please remember, only MasterCard and VISA are accepted. Also, request your license sent via email by entering your email address at the bottom.

Step 7: Once your payment has been processed, a receipt screen will be displayed. Please make sure to print this page for your records. You will need this information should you need to login and reprint your license(s) at a later time. Click the 'View License' button at the bottom of the page to generate and view your license(s) in a new browser window. You will then need to use your browser's print option to manually print your license(s) from this new window.

Step 8: You're almost done. Once the license has been generated and appears in the new browser window, you will be able to manually print the license(s). If you have purchased more than one license, they will all be displayed and printed from the same PDF file. Be sure to print the entire document. You may save the file if you wish.
