The new Tidal Boat License allows licensees to fish in all the tidal waters of the Commonwealth. The license enables the owner of a recreational boat, in any recreational boat he may own, and his passengers to fish in the tidal waters of the Commonwealth under one combined license. Tidal waters are locations where the water level is affected by the tides. For more information regarding tidal waters see DGIF's Freshwater Fishing Regulations.
- The Board of the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries has enacted the first license fee increase since 2006.
